CBR - Conservation Building Restoration
CBR Limited offer a complete service to suit the varying requirements of our clients. Our services are principally building conservation and building restoration related, be it natural stone, pre-cast stone, brickwork or stucco. Our range of services also include building cleaning and the additional option of a 24 hour graffiti removal service. CBR Limited is a Stonehealth approved company.
Our experienced craftsmen are capable of high quality natural stone repairs and replacement using traditionally recognised techniques. However, CBR also offer the complimentary service of structural repairs and resin bonding, again using directly employed and experienced operatives
As CBR have developed, we have become involved in high specification residential refurbishment as well as commercial refurbishment. These projects can be efficiently serviced by our directly employed decorators and joiners and our core of specialist sub contractors.
We will undertake works principally, all though not exclusively, in London, The South East and the Home Counties. Typical Project sizes range from £1,000.00 to £2,000,000.00.
Many Years of Experience
Over the past four years CBR have been fortunate in being able to bring together a team of former colleagues with a vast wealth of experience in Building Façade, Conservation, Restoration and Cleaning. Between them they command more than 70 years of experience covering many diverse projects. With this accumulated knowledge CBR can provide you with the first class service you need. This has been added to CBR's experience in dealing with structural repairs, resin injection and concrete repairs so that the Company can now offer a fully comprehensive and competitive package for façade restoration and cleaning.
Recent Projects
- Queens Road, Peckham, London.
- The above building has been derelict since 1986. Originally constructed during the Georgian period as a town house, developed further through the Victorian period. Sadly, due to the dereliction, the façade had fallen in to serious disrepair and in places structurally dangerous. CBR Limited were employed to stabilize the existing masonry and restore and replace the existing masonry. This has involved two core services provided by CBR Limited, those being the Structural Repair Team and the Building Cleaning and Restoration Team. This project has been grant aided and overseen by English Heritage.
- Chiswick House, Chiswick, London.
- Chiswick House was a modest home overlooking the River Thames. In 1726 Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington commissioned a major radical building programme which constituted a grand villa in the Palladian style. CBR Limited was awarded the phase 3 contract BY English Heritage for the restoration works to the link building and summer parlour.
