Building Cleaning

CBR Limited undertake all types of external building cleaning using methods such as water cleaning, chemical cleaning, fine poultice works, paint stripping and abrasive cleaning. CBR directly employ cleaning operatives with vast experience of the various cleaning methods.

We are approved users of the various Stonehealth cleaning systems such as DOFF and Jos/Torc

Recent projects where we have undertaken large scale cleaning works have been projects at St Pauls Church, Hammersmith and Chiswick House, Chiswick.

We also offer a 24 hour graffiti removal service using the latest sympathetic techniques and materials.

Natural Stone Restoration / Replacement

CBR Limited directly employ experienced stone masons and masonry restorers. Our master mason has worldwide experience of most natural stones used in the building industry, be it Granite, Marble, Limestone or Sandstone.

We can therefore undertake any size of masonry replacement or restoration project whether this may require repointing, restoring or rebuilding using the vernacular materials.

CBR can also undertake internal or external paving works and examples of this type of work can be seen in our case studies where we have completed projects in Kew Gardens and extensive internal and external works at St Elizabeth of Portugal in Richmond, Surrey.

CBR were also employed to lay the new Brazilian Slate feature in the centre of the Temperate House in Kew Gardens.

Pre-cast Stone and Supply and Manufacture

CBR Limited offer a pre-cast stone supply and manufacturing service where this type of stone may be required as an economical alternative to natural stone.

Specialist Modelling

CBR Limited have been involved in researching methods of producing finely detailed architectural pieces of pre-cast statuary and stone as part of the process of replicating this work we can also offer the services of some of the finest modelers experienced in the process of producing models from historic archive photographs and drawing records. These can then be used for producing a new mould from which the unit can be cast.

In Situ Stucco Modelling

We employ a unique team of craftsmen experienced in hand modeling in-situ ornate stucco work

Stucco Repairs and Restoration

CBR Limited have been involved in a large stucco façade restoration project in South West London which has required the research of existing stucco materials identifying the matrix and then repairing the building using this mix, with new materials. This has involved large areas of plain, rusticated and intricately moulded stucco which have been skillfully applied to provide a seamless mix of new and original materials.

Historic Brickwork Repairs, Replacement and Repointing

CBR Limited has been involved in some prestigious brickwork restoration projects in the London area inclusive of Kew Gardens and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

CBR Limited employ experienced historic brickwork operatives with many years of experience. The services again include the indenting of bricks, mortar repairs to spalled brick faces and colour toning using natural and man made pigments. With regard to repointing historic brickwork, CBR Limited can offer the service of mortar analysis and trial samples for prospective projects to aid in the compilation of specialist repair specifications.

CBR Limited have been involved in brickwork repair and repointing contracts overseen by eminent members of English Heritage.

Structural Repairs and Resin Bonding

CBR Limited directly employs experienced operatives for structural repairs to facades whether they be of a historic nature or more recently constructed. CBR Limited have for many years been an approved contractor for the NHBC.

Painting and Decoration

CBR Limited directly employs experienced painters and decorators and this service compliments some of those mentioned in the services section. CBR Limited will undertake small to medium size projects which may include ancillary services such as wall papering and joinery. We also employ a select group of sub contractors for high volume painting projects.

Residential Refurbishment

CBR Limited has undertaken high specification residential refurbishment contracts which have consisted of stripping out existing dwellings and reconfiguring these to an exacting high specification. We employ specialist sub contractors to carry out plumbing works, electrical and lighting installations, plastering and even the installation of "home-wide" music systems. Our in house service of joiners and painter and decorators are also employed in producing that fine finish that any home deserves.

Commercial Refurbishment

CBR Limited have been involved in various projects in some major shopping centres which have involved the reconfiguration of existing units into to units to suit new client requirements. Along with the services that CBR Limited provide we also have a core of experienced sub contractors that cover all of the necessary requirements of these reconfiguration works. These works include adapting existing as well as new electrical installations, adapting existing or new ventilation or air conditioning installations, flooring contractors as well as sprinkler and fire detection system alterations. These projects often involve tight deadlines as potential tenants require a fast turn around, CBR Limited have always delivered the projects on time by proactive management of time and resources.
